The Panhellenic Association of Translators (PEM) is Greece’s oldest union of professional translators and interpreters. PEM’s members are all acclaimed and reputable professionals, and through their PEM membership they also become full members of the International Federation of Translators (FIT). The translators and interpreters of PEM currently cater for approximately 30 languages. The language you need is almost certainly among them.

When you need an interpreter or translator you simply visit the site and click on your language. You will then see a list of suitable professionals from whom you can select with one further click. You will then be able to telephone him/her directly – they will speak your language. It is as simple as that.
How do I pay for this service?
MyPEM.gr is free for you the user of translation services.
Each translator or interpreter you select via the site will have a profile showing the payment methods they accept, namely Euros in cash, or credit/debit card or electronic payment.
The actual fee for translation services is a matter you will agree with the professional translator or interpreter that you contact, based on a discussion between the two of you according to the task, location and the speed of service you require.

The Panhellenic Association of Translators (PEM) was founded in 1963 and is Greece’s first union of professional translators. PEM is based in Thessaloniki –Greece’s second largest city – but is active throughout the country as well as internationally. Its membership includes translators, interpreters and academics. PEM applies specific and strict admission criteria. All its members are graduates of tertiary education programmes. Depending on their primary qualification and/or postgraduate diploma, they may be required to provide proof of adequate working experience in translation prior to joining PEM.
PEM joined the International Federation of Translators (FIT) as early as 1969. FIT is the supreme international body representing language professionals worldwide.
The translators and interpreters within PEM provide translation services covering approximately 30 different languages.
